Studio Policy

  • The year is divided into two lesson terms with a new contract for each term:
    • Fall Term: September through December
    • Winter Term:  January through May 
    • Summer Lessons: For students who wish to study through the summer, lessons can be booked on a month by month basis (limited times)
  • All Private lessons occur on a weekly or bi-weekly basis for the contracted term.
  • No lessons are scheduled or charged for stat holidays and selected school holidays
  • Refunds will not be issued for missed or canceled lessons, however, up to two (2) missed lessons per term will be credited for make-up lessons. Make-up lesson credits must be used prior to the commencement of the following Fall Term. In the event a scheduled lesson is canceled by the instructor, the time will be credited.

Payments

  • Your Payment Option must be arranged prior to your first lesson. Please see below.
  • Fees for the lesson term are to be paid in full at the beginning of the term (prior to first scheduled lesson) by e-transfer or cheque.  
  • Monthly installments: Lesson fees for the term can be broken down into equal monthly installments payable on the 1st of each month (post-dated cheques for the term must be provided at first lesson). Please note, monthly payments will include a $3/month admin. fee.
  •   I reserve the right to cancel any remaining scheduled lessons if payment is not received in accordance with the agreed upon payment schedule.
